Our Belief Statement

We believe that the Bible is the sole source for all the questions in life, so all you see below, comes from the Word.

Come as you are, leave changed!

About the Bible
-All scripture is given by inspiration of God, is His final authority and is relevant for our everyday life.

About God
-We believe in a true and living God revealed in three persons- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy  Spirit.

About Jesus
-He died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven and will come again.

About Church

-We believe it is right to congregate and fellowship as the body of Christ.  Although we are affiliated with  the     Baptist  Church, we don’t preach a religion, but a relationship with God.

About People
-We are created in His image and are important to Him.  All have sinned and fallen short.  Every person must be born again through Jesus to enter into heaven.

About Salvation
-We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace.  We are not simply saved by believing God exists.  We are not saved by doing good deeds.   We are not saved because we were brought up in a religious family or participating in “Religious” Activities.  We ARE saved by grace through faith when we trust Jesus Christ and His work on the cross as sufficient for our sins.

About Baptism
-We immerse after being saved to show the world our commitment to God .  Although it is not necessary to enter heaven, it is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith.

About Communion
-We believe in open communion for everyone, not just members of the church, as the Spirit leads.

 About Marriage and Family
-Marriage is a holy institution set up by God between one man and one woman to be protected and raised up in the word of God.

About Youth and children
-Our kids must always be a priority to raise them up to know and trust God.  We need to provide a spiritual and nurturing environment.

About the sanctity of life
-Life starts at the moment of conception and no man has the right to end that life, only God can make that choice.
